ALFRED CYR
Born: Jun 22, 1948
Date of Passing: Jun 10, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALFRED (FRED) CYR June 22, 1948 - June 10, 2015 For two years Fred stubbornly, struggled and fought a heroic battle. He was an adventurous man, never afraid to seize opportunities to take chances; to travel extensively especially on those crazy motorcycle trips to Sturgis. He was a straight shooter who told it like it was, but that was tempered by a sense of humor that people enjoyed. Fred appreciated the efforts of the people at Cancer Care, Dr. Chumber of Pine Falls Hospital, his drivers Zeb and Brenda; his home care angels Jeannette, Cheryl, Lisa, and the staff at Pine Pharmacy who went above and beyond in their service and compassion. Waiting to greet him in heaven will be his parents George and Dina, his brother Jim, his sisters-in-law Dale and Irene, in-laws Alex, Solange, Alan and his best buds Junior, Denis, Roger, the other Roger and Ron. We're sure they'll have a party. Left to mourn and miss him are his wife Eunice, his son Guy, his daughter-in law Robin and his granddaughters Trinity, Gemini and Quincy, his brother David of Port Alberni, BC and his family, his sisters Rita (Albert Lamoureux), Edna (Lawrence Pichor) of Powerview and their families, his in-laws Wayne Skrumeda, Terry Skrumeda and Louise Nault and their families, his very close friends Darcy, Norma and Julie, his goddaughter Becky and her sister Marnie. Church Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Notre Dame du Laus Catholic Church, Powerview, MB. with Rosary at 12:30 p.m. A Reception will follow in the Church basement. Internment to follow immediately in the Broadlands Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of one's choice. Until we meet again. Sending our condolences to all Fred's family, one thing for sure Fred left a lot of boot prints in the sand! He had that walk of confidence and a deep voice that suited his personality to a "T". An Angel with experience was needed back at home so The Lord Chose Fred to take charge and join The Brother-Hoods-Of-Heaven.....Eunice if you need anything just call, that's what friends are for. - Posted by: Allan, Rita, Cesira, Santina & Terry Vincent (Friends) on: Jun 13, 2015
