GILBERT HENRY WILLIAM MORRIS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gilbert Morris on June 16, 2015 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 90 years. Besides his wife Margaret of 64 years, he leaves his son, Craig (Cleo), grandchildren Sydney and Blake and son-in-law Randy Cielen. He was predeceased by his daughter Vicki. Dad was born and raised on Victor Street where he met his beautiful wife, Margaret. He started his career at the CNR at age 17 and retired 42 years later at age 59. Dad was always busy in the garage or tinkering with something, no task was too small. He loved to golf, curl, bowl, and skate. He enjoyed travelling to Hawaii, Spain and many winters were spent at their trailer in Texas. Dad and Mom lived on the Sandy Hook Golf Course for the past 20 years until they moved into Winnipeg. Dad always greeted everyone with a big smile and a hearty hello. Special thanks to Winnipeg Paramedic and Staff at Seven Oaks Hospital Emergency Ward. Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 22, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB.
