Alex lived two houses over from me I was on 584 Gertrude Ave. We both went to Gladstone School and latter Tec Voc. He always said hello when ever we ran into each other. They weren't on our street that long they moved away. We never stayed in touch. - Posted by: Danny Lamontage (Friend) on: Aug 04, 2022

Was very shocked to hear of his passing. Lost touch over the years, but still vivid in my mind of my first meeting with Alex. You could not have met a nicer person, always there to help and share a laugh with. I will always be grateful for his help and guidance those many years ago. RIP Alex. - Posted by: Kevin McNish () on: Jul 05, 2015

My first memory of Alex was of him winning The Mr. Tec Voc contest in the early 80's. During the next few years I ran into him at Gold's gym where I remember him as being soft spoken and very friendly. My heart goes out to Carmen and Alex's family.
