MARVIN STANLEY HUCALUK It is with sadness we announce the passing of Marvin Hucaluk, beloved partner, stepfather, step-grandfather, brother, uncle and great-uncle. Marvin passed away at the age of 73 in Winnipeg. Marvin was predeceased by his parents Lucas and Jennie, his nephew Shawn and most recently his brother Richard, numerous aunties, uncles and cousins. Marvin will be lovingly remembered by his lifelong partner Mabel, stepchildren Darlene, Shirley, Billy and Gordon, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, his brother Edward and his children Roberta, Sheldon and Chris, sister Marilyn (Art) and their children Amanda (Alan) and their children Owen and Hanna and Andrea (Randy) and their children Austin and Avery. Marvin was born and raised on the family farm in Winnipegosis. He then went on to Flin Flon and Lynn Lake, where he was employed as a miner. He had many talents, drove taxi, worked at construction sites in Alberta operating backhoes and other equipment. He was also employed for the City of Winnipeg and Cunningham Lighting. Special thanks to his step-great-grand-children for their visits and help. Thank you to EMS and RCMP for their assistance. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, July 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marvin's memory to Canadian Diabetes Associations, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
