Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATARINA KASDORF Surrounded by family, our dear mother and Oma, Catarina Kasdorf (nee Koop), passed away peacefully at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home on Saturday, June 27, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband Jacob (December 30, 2007) and by her son Arnie (October 16, 2009). She is survived by her children: Aneliese (Ewald) Wiebe, Hans (Hedi) Kasdorf, Irene (Rudy) Schartner, Henry (Ruth) Kasdorf, Robert (Karin) Kasdorf, Marlene (Helmut) Boschmann, Woldemar (Irmgard) Kasdorf, Elvira (John) Bergen, Erna (Dave) Friesen, Rudy (Miriam) Kasdorf, Alfred Kasdorf, Ewald (Helen) Kasdorf and Helen Kasdorf, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom was born on August 31, 1925 in the village of Orloff in the Ukraine. For our mom, faith and family were the foundation of her life. She loved nothing better than to be surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished them all, and in return, was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Ruhe sanft, liebe Mutti! Funeral service will take place on Friday, July 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay with viewing at the church prior to the service. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Many thanks to all staff who provided loving care to our mother at St. Boniface Hospital, Misericordia Health Centre and Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home.
