ALICE TOTH (KOTCHOREK)

ALICE TOTH (KOTCHOREK) Peacefully on June 30, 2015, Alice passed away at Concordia Hospital. Alice was born in Ukraine on August 30, 1919. She then came to Canada with her mother at the age of nine years. Alice married Edmond Kotchorek in 1940. They enjoyed a wonderful 33 years together and travelled to many sunny destinations until his untimely death in 1973. She was also predeceased by her parents, brother Mike and sister Ann. She is survived by son Gerald (Susan), grandson Raymond (Lori), grandson Steven and three great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Breanna, and Greyson Kotchorek. She is also survived by her sister Lily Borden and brother John Demchuk, along with many nieces and nephews. Alice taught school as a young woman and she and Ed owned and operated Maple Leaf Realty for many years. She had a rich and full life with many interests. As per her wishes, a small family graveside service has taken place. The family would like to send a heart-felt thank you to the wonderful staff at Concordia Hospital for their warm and loving care of Alice during her stay with them.
