HEATHER SUSAN ZILKEY (TCHIR)
Born: Nov 19, 1949
Date of Passing: Jun 26, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEATHER SUSAN ZILKEY (nee TCHIR) November 19, 1949 - June 26, 2015 It is with immense sadness that we announce Heather's passing on Friday, June 26 at Riverview Health Centre. Heather was taken from us far too soon and will be greatly missed and forever remembered by Ross, her husband of 32 years, close relatives and many cherished friends. She was predeceased by her mother Phyllis, father Michael and sister Myrna. Heather was employed by Air Canada over 30 years where her love for adventure grew and she formed many lasting friendships that continued on after her retirement. Her joy of travel was second only to her love for her family cottage in Grand Marais. Heather and Ross enjoyed entertaining friends and family at their Grand Marais home. Heather's outgoing personality collected friends whether she was bowling, at Red Hat activities or at the Seven Oaks Wellness Institute. Thanks to Dr. Susan Robillard for her years of care. Heartfelt appreciation to all the staff at Riverview Palliative Care 3E for their compassion and kindness looking after Heather this last month. Celebration of Life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Thursday, July 9 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to an animal shelter of your choice or CancerCare Manitoba. Cropo Funeral Chapel, 204-586-8044

Heather enjoyed life to the fullest. We loved going to Grand Beach and popping in to see if her and Ross were at home. Judi was right about the hugs.
