Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACE MARY LECHOW On Monday, July 6, 2015, Grace passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital. Grace was predeceased by her sister Helen, and husband Walter. She leaves behind her two sons and their families, eldest son Richard (Val); grandchildren Christopher and Bailey; granddaughter Lisa (James); and three great-grandchildren Jordyn, Connor and Carter; her second son Robert (Lori); grandchildren Robyn and Evan; as well as her sister Nelda. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well many of neighbours and friends. She is also survived by her special friend and companion Lothar. Grace was born on September 7, 1929 in Tuberose, Saskatchewan. As a young child, she came to live in Winnipeg with her mother and sisters. She and her husband Walter raised their two sons in Winnipeg. Throughout her 85 years Grace was known as a very active woman that loved to travel, leading a full life. She had numerous employers throughout her working years. In her later years she enjoyed meeting and greeting people while providing in store demonstrations of new products. She took great pride in her garden, and loved flowers and butterflies. Grace loved to socialize, go on trips and play bingo at the Polish club. As per Grace's wishes no service or ceremony will be held. Private interment has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, or any charity of choice. I knew Grace for many years as we played Bingo together.She was ALWAYS such a friendly lady.She spoke of her children and grandchildren often and I could tell she was very proud of all them.May all the wonderful memories you have of her keep her alive in your hearts always.Rest in Peace my dear friend. - Posted by: Donna Passante (friend) on: Jul 11, 2015
