  • My most sincere condolences to Glenn's family. Glenn was always a gentleman - kind and true. He is missed - Posted by: Ron Clark (Friend) on: Sep 10, 2015

  • I was honoured to be his friend, honoured to know a man whose greatness cannot be defined with mere words and honoured to learn from him what it means to be human and a caring person. My tribute eulogy at the service does not due justice to the tears shed and sorrow my brother will not be with me. Until we meet again in the next life, I will think of you often brother. - Posted by: Michael Hopper (Friend, soul brother) on: Jul 20, 2015

  • My condolences to the family. I will miss working with you. You were always so nice and fun to work with, even though sometimes you would have your little ways at getting back at people (in fun of course). I'm very sad that I cannot attend the service tomorrow, however know that I will be there in spirit. I hope that your next journey will bring you happiness and peace. I know that you will be watching over all of us and know that you were loved and admired in many ways. You will be missed by all! - Posted by: Jennifer Young (Co-worker) on: Jul 17, 2015

  • Glen was a great person inside and out. He will be always remembered by our family from water fights to just our chit chats. We have known him for many many years and still in disbelief he has left all of us. He will be missed with his always positive adittude and jokes. You were VERY much loved by so many. • Glenn was a quite man with a kind and gentle heart. A true gentleman. He had a keen sense of humour and enjoyed being with his family and friends. You could always see the joy in his eyes when he would play with and tease Kennedy and Easton, his niece and nephew. As a big brother to Kevin, he was always there for guidance and friendship. He loved his sports and I remember him passing on his hockey skills, as a coach, to Kevin's hockey. He did love history and the re-enactment troupe that he took pride in as a member was definitely something that he always treasured. Glenn will be deeply missed. His gentle manner and loving heart will never be forgotten. Our condolences to Kevin, Jocelyn, and family. Vichnaya Pam'yat - Posted by: Joyce and John Kuchak (Aunt and Uncle) on: Jul 17, 2015

  • Our condolences to Glenn's family. We are neighbors for 5 years. We and our kids always enjoy seeing him in the backlane with his dog. He is very kind and we will miss chatting with him. We will miss him greatly. - Posted by: Mike and Vesna (Neighbor) on: Jul 16, 2015

  • I'll miss Glenn, when I heard he'd died in Belgium I immediately realized why he would have been there at that time. I think he would appreciate the irony in meeting his own Waterloo at Waterloo on the 200th Anniversary of the battle. I can hear him chuckling as I write this. - Posted by: Barry Atkinson (Friend) on: Jul 16, 2015

  • I spent most of my childhood with Glenn... he was my cohort in crime and we got into lots of trouble together especially at the farm. Glenn was full of life, full of fun and had a wonderful sense of humor. I will treasure my memories of him always and will miss him greatly. My condolences to Kevin and family. Rest in peace my Glanny. Vichnaya Pamyat - Posted by: Kathy Zaruba (Godsister) on: Jul 16, 2015

  • Glenn and I first met back in 1998 through work and even though we had worked at different sites for the past 12 or so years we were able to maintain our friendship through sponge hockey or softball. I always found it interesting that he was probably the quietest and nicest person I knew, yet when he stepped on the ice he was our penalty leader year in and year out :) I appreciate the friendship we had, and he will be greatly missed. My thoughts go out to Kevin and the rest of his family. - Posted by: Lee McCarthy (Friend/Coworker) on: Jul 16, 2015

  • Glenn was kind, considerate and friendly. He always made people feel welcome and valuable. We will miss him. - Posted by: Janet (Acquaintance) on: Jul 15, 2015

  • We both knew Glenn as a funny, kind, and gentle man. I will always have fond memories of trips to Chicago and the laughter we all shared. - Posted by: evan and debbie scott (friends ) on: Jul 14, 2015

  • I met Glenn through work back in 1999 and played Spongee and Softball with him and also got covered in his paintballs a few times. Even though he wasn't playing Softball with us anymore he still took the time once in a while to come out and support the team. He cared very much about his friends and family and took the time to make sure they knew they were important to him. In losing Glenn let it be a reminder that we should all be a little more like him and take the time to make sure our friends and family know they are important to us. You will be missed coinman. - Posted by: Dan Sajatovic (Friend / co-worker) on: Jul 13, 2015

  • His shared love of history is how we met and this camaraderie will sorely be missed. Scott Larimer from Illinois, USA - Posted by: Scott Larimer (Friend with the Forces of Lord Selkirk) on: Jul 12, 2015

  • Glenn was a quiet, knowledgeable gentleman. An avid student of history, if there was something about Polish history you needed to know, he'd be the guy to call. He was also an avid table top gamer. And excellent strategist, and always a fair and enjoyable opponent at the game table. There have never been enough like him, and now we have one less. The world is a less interesting place without him. He is, and will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Pedro Bedard (Old friend and fellow reenactor.) on: Jul 12, 2015

  • My condolences to Glenn's family. He was a comrade of many years as a fellow re-enactor, wargamer and miniature painter. He had a kind nature, and was a good friend. I shall miss him greatly. - Posted by: Frederick Carsted () on: Jul 12, 2015

  • Will be missed by your brethren in Canada's National Riding & Dancing Cossacks and Company. Vichnaya Pamyat. - Posted by: John Orisko (Comrade) on: Jul 12, 2015
