GWENDOLINE M. EVANS May 19, 1923 - July 8, 2015 Peacefully, on July 8, 2015, our mother Gwendoline Margaret Evans passed away at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband William; brother Les; sister Gert; and brothers-in-law, George, Art and Mike; and sister-in-law Peggy. She is survived by two sons, William Jr. and wife Susan, Ron and wife Diane; two grandsons, Jaisen (Suzie) and Ryan (Nikki); and two grand-dogs, Mack and Jolie. Also survived by sister Lillian, brother Tim (Lorraine) and sister-in-law Mary, along with many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Aunty Lil and Aunty Mary for their many visits to see Mum at Riverview. In earlier years, Mum, Dad, Bill and Ron enjoyed many vacations to Grand Beach, with Dad jumping on the trains to purchase return tickets home. Later Mum and Dad travelled out West to visit friends and relatives. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre 2D for the care that Mum received. A special thank you to nurse Sheldon, whose honest and straight forward approach, was much appreciated by the family. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation in Gwen's name.
