Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSE SOARES 1943 - 2015 Peacefully on July 16, 2015 at Seven Oaks Hospital with family by his side, Jose Leandres Soares passed away at the age of 71. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his sister Maria (Jose), father-in-law Jose, brothers-in-law Jose (Elizabeth), Paulo (Aida), Antonio (Ines), Manuel (Rita) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Antonio and Rosa Moura Soares and his beloved wife Maria Soares. Jose was born July 25, 1943 in Santo Espirito, Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal. He moved to Brazil in 1962 and then immigrated to Canada in 1975. Jose often enjoyed gathering the family together in his home to enjoy good food, drinks and company. Prayers will be said on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday July 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Assumption Cemetery. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Kidney Foundation. Cropo Funeral Chapel 204-586-8044

I've known Joe for 27 yrs., he was a great man and mentor. Joe has taught me so much in the business that we were both shared.
