Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLARRY LINCOLN CARPENTER It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, partner, brother, uncle and friend Larry Lincoln Carpenter on July 16, 2015, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Larry leaves to cherish his memory his life partner Diane, daughter Cindy, daughter Hollie (Dave), son Larry Jr., daughter Candace (Grant), and grandchildren Alisha, Crystal, Savanna, Douglas, Tristan, Dilan and Adrianna; his sisters Ethel and Angie, brothers Everette (Ann), Harry (Laura), and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Larry was predeceased by his wife Florrie, his parents Margaret and Arthur, brothers John and Bud, and sisters Carol, Betty, Rena, Connie and Donna. Larry was born on a farm in Morris, MB on March 22, 1943. The family moved to Keewatin, ON in 1956 where his father went to work for Ontario Hydro. Larry moved to Winnipeg in 1965 where he then met Florrie Beaton. They were married in 1970, and raised their four children in Winnipeg, Arnaud, and Dominion City. Larry worked with this brother Bud at Borland Construction for 18 years. He then went to work for Kelvin Kartage, and was with them for 19 years until his retirement in 2011. Larry took great joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren, his many siblings and their kids, and his many friends, and of course, his pride and joy the 2007 Ford F150. Larry enjoyed listening to country music, hosting BBQ's in the backyard of the house he shared with Diane, and together maintaining the home they lived in. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donation can be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Lung Association.
