Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY NEUFELD Dorothy Neufeld, 85, of Niverville, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2015 at De Salaberry District Health Centre in St. Pierre. She is survived by her beloved husband Harry, daughters Beverly Petry (Cory), and Anna Neufeld, son Bruce Neufeld (Wendy); grandchildren Sean, Arthur, Richard (Helena), Vincent, Eric, Leanne and three sisters Helen, Nettie and Ruth. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Jacob D. and Anna B. Barkman, three sisters and seven brothers. Dorothy grew up in Steinbach and raised a family in southeastern Manitoba. She was employed as a personal care aide for over 10 years and was a volunteer for Palliative Care in Steinbach. She faithfully served on the executive of the Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion in Steinbach. Dorothy loved people and made many friends in her lifetime. She will be sorely missed by who called her friend. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Niverville Chortitzer Mennonite Church. The interment will follow at the Hespeler Cemetery. If friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to Southern Health/Santé Sud: Palliative Care, P.O. Box 470, La Broquerie, MB, R0A 0W0.
