I learned of Laurie's passing in the last week and was very sad about this news. I enjoyed working with Laurie as did everyone in human resources. She was smart, funny, kind, honest, and empathetic towards everyone. She always had time for you. Even if the work day was insanely busy and demanding or she had a personally difficult day, she was able to acknowledge it but stay on point, she was always a true professional. After I retired, she was one of the people I remembered and always thought of with fondness. May Laurie's loved ones and friends find peace in the beautiful light that was her life. - Posted by: Nancy (colleague at HC) on: Nov 25, 2015

I miss my mom, more then words can describe. She was my rock. My best friend. Life will never be the same and the emptiness that surrounds me will always be there. But I choose to look forward as my mom would want. I choose to be strong for my daughter as my mom always was until the end for me. I choose to follow her legacy and make her proud. Mom, I love you to the moon and back. - Posted by: Dana Loeppky (Daughter ) on: Oct 02, 2015

My thoughts and prayers go out to Laurie's family. Over the years, she was there whenever I needed help with 'nurses'. We had great fun when working as the retiree team at Agriculture. She worked hard and always had a smile, even when she wasn't feeling well. She would always be cracking jokes and had some great one liners especially during our lunch breaks. She loved her family to the moon and back. May she be at peace. - Posted by: Sue Ingleton (Co-worker, friend) on: Aug 11, 2015

Bert, Chad, Dana and family We are so sorry to hear of Laurie's passing. Laurie was a great person, who cared so much for her family and friends. A fun loving woman who was a great co worker, we had a lot of laughs at the pay office. She did so much for Tom and I when we were getting married, by putting on a bachelorette party. It was always great to see you both at luncheons in recent years. We will miss Laurie and always have fond memories. - Posted by: Barb and Tom Higham (Friends and co workers) on: Aug 08, 2015
