Josie was a beautiful person she had such a caring heart. We met when i found her ad in newspaper for her toy poodles. Josie had such a gift with animals and was so strong and healthy. I will always remember our visits together and the boys will always remember you too. May you rest well. Love always...Little Cesar ,Benji and Kara - Posted by: KW (friend) on: Oct 11, 2016

First my dad, 12 years ago, Josie's husband, then my husband two years ago, Josie's son-in-law, and now my mother. I try and remember the following: Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. I am waiting for you, for an interval, Somewhere very near, just around the corner, All is Well. - Author Unknown - Posted by: Daniela Salmen (Daughter) on: Aug 15, 2015

Josie was one of the better people, that we are fortunate to meet in our Life time. I Remember when she and Rudy bought the restaurant on St. Marys Rd. Josie became a good friend, client. Will always remember that great smile. Winnipeg became a better place when Josie moved from Slovenija. - Posted by: Gerry Ducharme (Old Freind ) on: Aug 11, 2015

After a long and adventurous life, your mother has been called home by the Lord. May she find in His presence peace and eternal life. May all the family find peace and consolation in God's grace. - Posted by: Fr. Joe Newman SJ (friend of Ferd) on: Aug 11, 2015
