I worked with Julia for a time at Convergys and 'patience of a saint' is always how I thought of Julia. In a crazy chaotic world, Julia could bring peace and sincerity. She will be missed greatly and my heart goes out to her family and other close friends... - Posted by: Katie Wilson (Former co-worker) on: Aug 15, 2015

I worked with Julia at AT&T Canada, later Convergys. She was a great person to work with, never wanted to cause any waves and really easy to get along with. She loved her family, always spoke well of her husband and children. The last time I saw her was several years ago on a business trip and we were happy to bump into each other. I'm really saddened at her passing and wish the family God's Grace during this sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Kind regards, Elaine Harlan - Posted by: Elaine Harlan (Formerly Elaine McFarlane) (Co-worker) on: Aug 14, 2015

While I met Julia through work and supported many successful projects together it was Julia the person and not Julia the Quality Manager that touched my life. We would car pool and there is nothing like 6:00 AM car rides to really get to know someone. She shared her hopes, joys and fears for Joe Christina and Christopher and had a compassionate ear and pragmatic perspective when I shared my life and angst. Helping people and treating them compassionately were priorities for her, and made her a role model for me and others. She loved and was loved by many and will truly be missed. - Posted by: Dana Dueck (Co-worker \ Friend) on: Aug 14, 2015

Her loss has been felt by the Transcona Football Community. She was always helping where she could at all of the Murdoch MacKay Clansmen home games. No chore to hard. She almost always could be found at the concession tent selling food and drinks or selling 50/50 tickets to help out the team. So sorry for loss Rosa Family. My thoughts are with you today. - Posted by: Denise Cheang () on: Aug 14, 2015

I will miss my Julia so much. Her great sense of humor, patience and overwhelming love. Never did she judge anyone her heart was so big. I'll miss her so much. I remember when we went in for overtime at convergys before it was convergys. Christopher was only 2. We would have a good breakfast then off to work. We shared our love of a soap opera young and restless. I'll miss my little friend so so much - Posted by: annette spinak (friend) on: Aug 14, 2015

Julia was my supervisor for many years. Her guidance, support and mentoring played a huge role in fostering my love for quality. Without her and our team at the time, I wouldn't be where I am today. Christina, she was so proud of you and your family and would light up when speaking of all of you. I know it is so hard to lose one's mother, and even though it doesn't go away, take some comfort in knowing that she had a lasting impact on so many people. I'm thinking of you all. - Posted by: Shawna (Former CVGWPG coworker) on: Aug 13, 2015

Julia and I have been Friends for over 20 years. We worked closely together and did lots of laughing together. We would laugh so much that we would get a headache. I know she loved her family so much and would put them first no matter what. Let me tell u,u watched what u said about them because she would come out fightng like a bear Protecting their young. She was extremely wise, caring, forgiving, understanding. Julia was one of the greatest Mother and best friend u could ask for. If I had problem Julia would stop what ever she was doing and come to my side. There r so many wonderful times I could talk about, but there is not enough room here. Just know Julia, Agnes and I will be by your grave side every birthday with wine in one hand and crystal light in the other. I will truly miss u forever my dear friend. - Posted by: Gail Prokipchuk (Best Friend ) on: Aug 13, 2015

Julia was my boss at Convergys but also my friend. She was so easy to talk to and I could tell she really cared about her employees. I know she was great at this because I had never even met Julia in person being one of her remote employees living in Florida. Julia touched lives across the world. To Julia's family I know she loved you all very much. She shared many stories with me over the years about her family and Micky. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. - Posted by: Candace Crane (Friend/Co Worker) on: Aug 13, 2015

How shocked I was to hear of your passing. It is so true that God takes the ones that are beautiful, loving, am all around great person. I loved having lunch with you, Gail and Agnes. I don't think I have laughed so hard while eating then when all 4 of us were together. You always made me smile and always stop at my desk as you walked by just to say hello.
