ANNIE BABIAK On July 11, 2015, Anne passed away at Heritage Lodge at the age of 82 years. Anne was born in Canada shortly after her family had arrived from Ukraine. Anne received her education in Winnipeg while working at her family's market garden in North Kildonan and later she worked for the CNR. A passionate dancer, she loved Latin dance, and shared fond memories of dancing the night away with family and friends. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 160 Euclid Street with Father Leonard Ratushniak, C.Ss.R. presiding.
