FRIESEN 1944 - 2015 With sadness the family announces the passing of Ronald Friesen on August 9, 2015 at St. Boniface Hospital after a lengthy illness. He died peacefully in the hope of eternity with Jesus Christ. He was predeceased by his parents, Elsie (Peil) and Victor Friesen. Ron is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law Alisa and Don Laturnus, Celeste and Ron Nikkel, Tamira and Cornelius Martens; seven nieces and nephews; and nineteen great nieces and nephews. Ron lived in Winnipeg all his life. He enjoyed gardening, collecting and spending time with his friends at the Canadian Legion (Main Street). The family wishes to thank the faithful friends and neighbors who came to help and visit during this last year. Thank you also to the doctors and nursing staff of the River East Home Palliative Care Unit and those at St. Boniface Hospital 8th floor for your enduring patience.
