We just heard of the passing of your son. We know what you must be going through, for as you know, we lost our daughter Maureen two years ago. May the Lord's grace carry you through this difficult time. We don't always understand God's ways and timing but we do know that He does all things well. - Posted by: John and Carrie Coughlan (Frfiends) on: Aug 25, 2015

Dear Glenda and family: we are so shocked to receive this news. We send our deepest condolences as loss is so hard... Even though for we Christians this means that David has Graduated!! It is hard to remember when things feel so out of control that indeed God IS in control... David always seemed bigger than life to me with his giggle, kind heart, wisdom, and love for all. Heaven is rejoicing to have him home, we have no doubt. Just as we want and need our children with us, I am certain The Lord was anxiously awaiting the day to bring wonderful David home to Him but oh how sad we are that it was so soon... You have been constantly in our thoughts and prayers since we got the news. We will continue as you find your way forward... - Posted by: Tim & Margo Kehler (Friends) on: Aug 22, 2015

Dear Glenda, Dr. and Mrs. Griggs and the Griggs family, How do you express words of sadness, loss, grief or sorrow, words that all seem so hollow in a time like this? There are no words only the sounds of hearts that break when a dearly loved husband, father, son, brother or uncle is taken from you so suddenly and unexpected. On behalf of the Sturby family I want to express our love and deepest sorrow for your overwhelming loss. A day has not passed since Dave went in for his surgery that he was not covered in prayer; who could know that just a few days later his Saviour and Lord would call him home to Himself. Heaven, our enteral home, grows more sweeter as one by one we say good-bye to loved ones who have gone before us. The Words of the song "What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see, when I look upon His face, the One who saved me by His grace", give me comfort and I look forward to that day where we shall ever be with the Lord and there will be no more parting over there!!! We continue to pray that God with his strong, sovereign, everlasting arms will hold and sustain and keep you all until that day when we are all safely home.
