Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELMUT GRAUMANN Helmut Graumann passed on August 25, 2015 from complications associated with a lengthy illness. Helmut was born on May 16, 1941 in Topola Katowa, Poland, during a family re-settlement. He immigrated to Canada in May, 1958 and settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Helmut was a bricklayer by trade. His profession led him to numerous excursions throughout northern Canada. Helmut greatly enjoyed the outdoors, particularly the Whiteshell Park area where he was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his three children: Christopher (Rachelle) and child Alexis; Gary (Susan) and child Hunter; and Caroline (Kevin); three sisters Ruth Liebersbach of Germany, Alma Hanke of British Columbia, and Annette Bertolina of Washington (US); and sister-in-law Ilse of Winnipeg, along with many nieces and nephews. Helmut was predeceased by his mother Regina (nee Schröder) Graumann; father Johann Graumann; and two older brothers Ewald (Ilse) and Ernst (Albertine) Graumann. A graveside service will be held at Brookside Cemetery (section 37) on Monday, August 31 at 10:30 a.m. FRIENDS FUNERAL SERVICE INC. 204-339-5555
