48 years ago we moved to Winnipeg and her mother and I became very close friends. Although I did not keep in touch as I should have I have communicated with Nance thru face book the last few years. I watched her grow from a very pretty fun loving 10 year old, an active teenager even while wearing a back brace and a beautiful bride into the lovely woman she has become. I will always remember Nance with love and to all the Wilson and the Campbell families John, Janna and Joel and I are sending heartfelt condolences. - Posted by: Anne Treleman (Family friend for the last 48 years) on: Sep 03, 2015

To many of you.... You might not know, and be Surprised, to find out.... That Nancy was my BEST FRIEND. she Was and Will REMAIN A SPECIAL PERSON in my heart. Someone who always was there for ME, Loved me, Listened and DIDN'T Judge. She ACCEPTED Me for me, Even my Faults and there are many...Nancy and I as funny as it may be are opposite in many ways. but as the stars would align we were destined to meet. and we did. For many of you it might come as a Surprise to know that I ACTUALLY KNEW Nancy long before she was an EA with the school division. In FACT it was I who suggested the idea of becoming an EA and as it would turn out in life had the gift of not only working with her once with wpg enterprises as event staff and security but at Grant Park High school. I even find it interesting that as I made my transition to Carpathia Elementary it was here where Nancy first was assigned. A form of serendipity as I like to see it. Knowing her for well over 20 years at least, half my life she was my Confidant, My Shoulder, My Dear Friend. and in many ways LIKE A MOM to Me. listening to endless hours of my concerns regarding my dysfunctional divided family and other issues. on the other side She talked often and shared moments with me of her 3 sons successes and her grandchildren and loved you all dearly. she is so proud of you Derrik Brad and Neil. as for her character it stands for itself. she was a hard worker organized, caring individual who liked real people and would do anything for someone, and tolerated events that would affect her directly with nothing but strength and courage. Nancy always made efforts to include me in her life, with her family and her friends and into her home spending quality time just hangin. she didn't of course always agree with me but attempted to guide me in the right direction. in fact she was my strength, my rock, my mentor my friend. Nancy never once devalued me rather inspired. and if she didn't know how to help my problem would stop the conversation ..... she'd get that look in her eye and ask me......AND HOW'S IT WORKING FOR YOU? and we both would laugh. ...God I miss her. she was a woman of many great qualities and she will be missed. - Posted by: maureen maccoy (close friends 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999) on: Sep 03, 2015

Nancy was hard working, loved to learn new things, a great guide and positive influence for those that wanted help (some times even if you didn't want it). She was not only my cousin but more importantly my friend. As children we shared many great memories at Grand Marais, swimming, fishing, playing games, all the things that friends do together. I will miss her terribly. My sincere condolences to her family. - Posted by: Sydney Krause (Cousin) on: Sep 03, 2015
