BRYANT WAYNE VIZNAUGH
Date of Passing: Sep 01, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRYANT WAYNE VIZNAUGH It is with heavy hearts and extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Bryant Wayne Viznaugh on September 1, 2015 at the age of 68. He is now reunited with his loving parents Florence and Norman. Left to cherish memories are his soulmate Donna, fate brought their two hearts together and not even his passing can separate them; son Bryant to carry on the songs of his life, "It's a Family Tradition"; daughter Heather (Neil) to carry on his smile, love and his strength, "Forever a Family"; the pride of his life, grandson Zachary (Selena) - never was his smile so bright when he watched Zachary take the field, "Always in the Line Up", "Good game my boy." Wayne was born November 10, 1946 in Selkirk, Manitoba. Born with skates on, the rink was always calling his name. He had an outstanding hockey career that spanned his life. Playing for several teams at once and against players that were more than half his age. Not only a player, but a true fan, he even watched the game with his skates on. "Our Leafs are going to win the cup this year!" His other passion was music. Singing and strumming his guitar is what fuelled his spirit. The Legendary Whisky Bent was not only a band, they were a family. Making music together for decades, they travelled all over sharing their love of Country and Old Time Rock n Roll, playing to sold out crowds even from Plum Coulee, MB. We will carry your songs always in our hearts "and remember... The Whisky Bent Band loves you." Our family would like to say a special thank you to brother Armond and sister Helen Viznaugh. We would not know where we would be without you. Your love, support, strength and guidance was our rock when our world came crashing down. To Roberto and Aida and all the Lameg family, we would like you to know how much we appreciate how you were the light in the dark. You were our hearts to hold and shoulders to cry on. You circled us with a love that only family can give. At Wayne's request, no funeral will be held. An Open House celebrating his life will be held at his home on September 19 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., 84 Rockspur St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Toronto Maple Leafs so they can win the cup this year! "A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says "Grieve not for me". Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I am counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about the falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we're together again." Our deepest sympathies to Wayne's family. We have great memories of playing fastball with Wayne but by far the best times were when Wayne would bring out his guitar and the sing-alongs began. Wayne will be missed. Greg & Sheilah Borys - Posted by: Greg Borys (Friend) on: Sep 08, 2015

Donna, Heather, Bryant and Zach... I'm so so incredibly sorry for your loss. I have so many good memories of growing up in your home on weekends and then going to hear Uncle play when we were old enough to go and listen. Going with Miche, Kent, Robbie and Gartz were some of the best times of my life! Meals were always my favourite, hey Heath? We'd all sit around stuffing ourselves and your dad would tease us and make us laugh. I know how loved he was by the four of you and how he loved you back tenfold, and my heart is hurting for you all. Please know that my thoughts and love are with you, no matter how far apart our paths have gone. Much love always, Cindi. - Posted by: Cindi Eastman (Niece) on: Sep 05, 2015
