MANFRED JEROMIN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Manfred Jeromin on Saturday, September 12, 2015. Born in Kassel, West Germany, Manfred immigrated to Winnipeg, MB in 1952. In 1957, he met Erika on a sunny Sunday at Grand Beach. One year later they were married. They were blessed with two children and two grandchildren. Erika and Manfred operated two beauty salons in the north end (Airlies Beauty Salon and Jeromins Beauty Bar). Manfred also worked as a school bus driver for the Seven Oaks School Division for 24 years. Manfred was a long-time member of the German Society and enjoyed 40 plus years of summers at Camp Neustadt with family and friends. Manfred was predeceased by his wife Erika; his parents, and one brother. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Sylvia (Scott); son Perry (Ellen); and grandchildren, Kyla and Tyler; along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends across Canada, the U.S. and Germany. The family would like to thank the staff of Grace Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
