I got to know Curt when we were classmates at Winkler Bible Institute. We are in Winkler for our class reunion, but hadn't heard anything so I was looking forward to seeing him this weekend. Even now, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family...Betty and their kids. Curt, you are greatly missed...and I will never forget the humor we enjoyed in our Winkler days! We'll see you when we're in heaven. - Posted by: Gerry Teigrob (Classmate - WBI) on: Jul 22, 2023

We are in prayer for Betty and children, Hans and Anni and Curt's mother and other family members. We did not personally know him but the service protrayed a great Christian, loving, family man that loved to help others. Great message by the Pastor. Prayers and Love. - Posted by: John and Ellen Wells (Friends of Anni and Hans) on: Sep 21, 2015

Years ago we first met Curt at a church gym night. I remember him being full of life and energy and wishing I had his energy level. I cannot imagine how hard it was to watch ALS suck this energy out of his life. Betty, we are praying that God will comfort you and your family as you mourn the loss of your husband and father to your children. - Posted by: John Sawatzky (Family Friend) on: Sep 17, 2015

My thoughts and prayers go out to Betty and her family. I met them many years ago living in the apartment on Arby bay. Be strong Betty, hold your memories close to your heart. - Posted by: Charlene Purcell (Old neighbour) on: Sep 16, 2015
