Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I started hunting with Erich and the rest of the gang from the north when I was about 12 or 13 along with my dad. Erich was always fun to hunt with and be around after the hunt. Nikki made some amazing retrieves which always made Erich smile. Ill never forget the cross dressing roosters. I always remember the stories about tin town and his hunts up there. Erich will be missed this season but his memory not be forgotten. I'm sure Erich's making a nice double right now. God bless you and thanks for the memories Erich. - Posted by: Matt & Arlene Monson (Friend ) on: Sep 23, 2015

  • Erich hunted with us for many years. We have many pleasant memories of hunting side by side with Erich and nicki. Erich was an excellent shot on both pheasants and grouse. He so enjoyed coming to North Dakota for the annual hunt. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Irene and Erich's children. Erich is probably chasing pheasants right now. God bless Erich. - Posted by: Mike and Connie monson (Hunting friends from north dakota) on: Sep 22, 2015

  • I met Erich at the Winnipeg Trap and Skeet Club. I was a kid working in the traps. My father was a member of the board and I believe Erich may have been. I was a kid in a sea of adults and he stuck out. He was especially kind and warm. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. He was definitely someone I remember as outstanding, but most of all, kind and sweet. My condolences to his family and friends, heaven got a good one there. Rest easy Erich, your time here left lasting impressions. - Posted by: Lisa Gerow (Friend) on: Sep 22, 2015
