Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPARASKA (POLLY) TOMCHUK Peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Maples Personal Care Home, Paraska (Polly) Tomchuk, aged 104 years passed away. Mom was born in Chatfield, MB. on December 5, 1910. At the age of three the family moved to Fisher Branch. There, in 1928 she married John Tomchuk and that is where they farmed and raised their family. ln 1966 they moved to Winnipeg to be close to their children. Mom was a loving and devoted mother to all her family. Survived by her son Bill and wife Helen; daughter Anne; grandchildren Gene (Sally), Stan (Gina), Dan (Janet), Jim (Denise) Nick, Bern (Karen) Tim (Kim); great-grandchildren Carly, Chris (Carrie), Jennifer (Mark), Amanda (Josh), Nichole, Chelsea (Trevor), Kaitlyn (Josh), Chad (Atlanta), Colton; great-great-granddaughter Skylar and sister Jenny Marych. Predeceased by husband John; daughter Mary; son-in-law Eugene; great-grandson Troy; mother Anastasia Cymbalisty; father John Halabarda; stepfather Stanley Cymbalisty; brothers, Nick, John and Joe; sisters, Mary, Anne and Dora. The family would like to thank the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home and Fr. Bashutskyy for their care and compassion. There will be a private family service. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
