CATHERINE PATTERSON PAWLOWSKI (HYDE) Catherine left this earth peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, September 26, 2015. Catherine was born November 12, 1922 to Susan and Edward Hyde, the youngest of four children. She was raised in the house that her father built on Lansdowne Avenue. Catherine graduated from Luxton School and St. John's Tech. She worked for the CPR during the war and finished her career with the City of Winnipeg retiring in 1987. Kay loved being at her cottage at Boundary Park enjoying her family, flowers and visiting with many friends. Predeceased by her parents Susan and Edward; sisters Florence, Margaret, and Tilley; brother Arthur; husband Eugene (Keno); and special friend Edward Gray (Grabowski). Left to mourn is her daughter Diane Jenkins (late Duncan); son Michael (Monica); and grandchildren Kassia, Iain, and Evan. A Celebration of Catherine's Life will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Special thanks to the kind and caring staff at Concordia Hospital and Dr. Johnson. In lieu of flowers, donations in Catherine's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
