Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN POITRAS At this time of Thanksgiving, the family gives thanks for the life on earth of Kathleen Mae (Hill, McGrath) Poitras. Born March 2, 1931, passed October 6, 2015. She went peacefully with Christ and those that have gone before, her parents, son Patrick Dale McGrath, husbands Jack McGrath and Andre Poitras, son-in-law Wayne Cash, sisters and brothers-in-law, and many friends. She has gone to make a path for those left behind, her daughters Lois Cash, Noreen Lysak, and stepdaughter Gail Spence; sister Mary Jane Farrow, brothers Milton (Bud) Hill and Frank (Dale) Hill; her granddaughters Jasmine McGrath, Krimson Lysak and Riley Cash; grandsons Jason and AJ, and great-granddaughter Sarah McGrath. She also leaves nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends both new and old. Most of her life was spent as a homemaker and caregiver but loved her time at Pollock's hairdressing and Harman's Drug Store. She was loved because she was so loving. She always was positive, humble, humorous and ever so thankful. A celebration will take place on Thursday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m., at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 251 Bannerman Ave. at Charles. Rev. Barb Pilozow and Rev. Kevin McDonald officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory to a charity of your choice. Friends Funeral Home & Crematorium 204-668-3151

Kay was one of the first to welcome me into the "family" when I started attending St. Johns Presbyterian. She always had such a beautiful welcoming smile and was always so happy to see me as I was to see her. Kay always found time to spend talking and laughing with me. I will always miss her happy and gentle ways, her presence in the church. Rest in Peace Kay, until we meet again in God's Heavenly Church.-Pearl Davis and son Peter Davis - Posted by: Pearl Davis (St. Johns Presbyterian family member) on: Oct 16, 2015

What a beautiful life you lived here on Earth . . . I loved being around you. You always brought a smile to my heart with all your crazy antics . . . somersaulting at age 65, You sure had a lot of spunk and it was difficult for some of the young ones to keep up with you. Kay, you are going to be sorely missed and yet I'm happy you have been reunited with family in Heaven. Please give my Mom and Dad a hug from me. Love you and RIP Sweet Lady <3 - Posted by: Sandy Jones (Cousin) on: Oct 11, 2015
