Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTONIA IRENE SMITH (nee RUBBOLI) September 1, 1929 - October 12, 2015 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother Antonia Irene Smith, age 86, on October 12, 2015. Our mother was predeceased by her parents, her husband, her daughter, two sisters and a nephew. Her memory will be cherished by her children Madeline, William (Susan), Julie (Guy), Susan (Wayne), Brian (Margaret), Sherry (Hamilton), her niece Laura (Mark); along with seven grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, two brothers, one sister, a sister-in-law, and numerous nephews. Antonia worked as a supervisor in the C.S.R. at St. Boniface Hospital, and retired after 25 years of service. Antonia touched the lives of her many co-workers, friends and relatives, who will mourn her passing. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, with Father Sam Argenziano officiating. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital Emergency, as well as the Winnipeg Paramedics Unit. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
