JERRY REGINALD BUTLER Jerry Reginald Butler born October 14, 1944 to Reginald Frank Butler and Olive Mae Butler, died tragically October 16, 2015, surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his wife Ann of 39 years, son Darren (Kristi), son Kevin (Jody), daughter Carmen (Brad), stepson Steven Blanco (Kathy), stepdaughter Sandra VanDeynze (Marc); grandchildren, Melissa, Cole, Wyatt, Jacy, Dylan, Brittany, Justin and Austin. Siblings, Don (Betty-Ann), Linda (Dale), Valerie (Gilles), Mona (George); in-laws, Pat (Eugene), Brad (Heather), Doug (Tim), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and fellow musicians. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elm Creek Community Hall, Elm Creek, Manitoba. Memorial donations may be made to Parkinson's Society of Manitoba, or to a charity of choice.

  • I just want to say I'm blown away by Jerry's passing...it's still hard to believe what happened. I so enjoyed his friendship during the many jam sessions we played in the Rio Grande Valley and will miss him terribly.
