ROZALIA OPAR Peacefully, after a brief illness at Holy Family Home, on Sunday, October 25, 2015, Rozalia Opar, aged 82 of Winnipeg. Rozalia was born in Ukraine and immigrated to Canada in 1972. She was employed with the Sharon Home as a housekeeper before her retirement, and was a member of Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Cathedral. Left to cherish Rozalia's memory are her sons Mirek and John, and grandchildren Jessica and Michael all of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1988. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 28 at Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mitrat M. Buyachok officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Cathedral.
