Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOIS LYLA ERICKSON Lois Erickson passed away after a brief illness at the Seven Oaks Hospital, with her family by her side. Lois was born June 9, 1924 and passed away October 21, 2015. Lois is survived by her son Harold (Carmen); son-in-law Dave; grandchildren, Brenda-Lee (Wil), Sherry, James (Cheryl), Kerry (Kim), Lyle (Linnae); 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Lorraine Hovdebo, Norma Bishop; brother Don (Rochelle) Sullivan; sister-in law Glo Sullivan, numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was predeceased by her husband Andy (Andrew); daughter June Dobson; sisters, Elva, Dallas, Verna; brothers, Harold, Lyle, and parents Tracy and Jennie Sullivan. Lois was a member of the Transcona Legion Branch No. 7, as well as a life member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was very active in this organization for many years, serving as president numerous times. Lois finished her working years with her husband Andy and son Harold and his children in the family business Erickson Motors Ltd., retiring in 1989. Lois spent the last few years of her life at the Maples Personal Care Home. She enjoyed her time there and made many friends both with other residents and staff. We would like to thank the staff at the Maples for making the last few years of mum's life very happy times. A Memorial Service will be held at the Transcona Legion Branch No. 7, 117 Regent Avenue East at 10:00 a.m., October 31, 2015.
