MARIA (MARY) BRAUN On Wednesday, October 28, 2015 Mary Braun passed away at the Misericordia Health Centre at the age of 99 years. She is survived by four daughters and their families; also two sisters and their families. Mary was predeceased by her husband Jacob in 1989. Funeral service will be held Monday, November 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Charleswood Community Church, 760 Charleswood Road. Viewing Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, and also prior to the service. Interment in Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church Cemetery in Springstein, Manitoba. Complete obituary in Saturday's edition.

Condolences all. She will be missed. I have fond memories of Aunt Mary including one summer (when Uncle Jake went off the roof and broke most of his bones) when I think she and I got a good part of the crop in. She was on the combine and I was in the truck. At least that's how I remember it. When you get older you can't always trust your memory.
