Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySALLY KRUK June 25, 1931 - November 3, 2015 With great sadness we announce the passing of our dear Mom and Baba, Sally Kruk. Sally was predeceased by her parents and husbands, Edward Budakowski and Sam Kruk, son Phil Budakowski and sister, Olga Charko. She is survived by her daughter Teresa (Bruce); grandchildren Dionne (Steven), Summerly (Yihua), Megan and Devin; daughter-in-law Colleen; sister, Lasha Budzan and nieces and nephews. Sally was born in Winnipeg and lived in the North End most of her life. After, her retirement in 1990, Mom enjoyed her travels with Sam, morning walks, coffee and chats with friends at Garden City Mall and Northgate Mall. Of course, she would never say no to trips to the casino with family or friends. Mom was a generous, caring, kind-hearted person who embraced life with a positive outlook and a beautiful smile that would light up a room. She was a loving Baba to her grandchildren and they would often laugh and share in jokes together. They are left with many wonderful memories to cherish. She was strong in her faith and her faith carried her through the most difficult times of her life. Thank you to the health care providers on N3 West at Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 9, at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. Interment will be at Holy Family Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of MB or the ALS Society of MB.
