MINNIE ELIZABETH HOROSHOK Peacefully on Sunday, November 1, 2015, we announce the passing of our loving mother, Minnie at the age of 92. Born in East Selkirk, Manitoba, on January 10, 1923 to Annie and Kasper Ogonowski. She leaves to mourn her daughters, Susan Benoit and Judy Carlisle, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving daughter Shirley Sorby, on November 8, 2010. She was devoted to all her family and loved to visit the farm in East Selkirk. For many years, she worked at Reitman's and was Past President of The Shriner's Ladies of the Eastern Star. She will be missed by her family, friends, extended family and all those who loved her. She had a warm place in her heart for her pets especially her cat "Prissy". Among her passions were her cottage, gardening, travel, and volunteering. Mom spent her last years at Fred Douglas Lodge and we wish to thank them for their excellent care, and also thank Rev. Dr. Paul for his visits and kindness. A service will be held Monday, November 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway.
