Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUIS HRISTOVSKI August 23, 1960 - November 7, 2015 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Louis Hristovski, beloved husband, son, brother and uncle, at the age of 55, who passed suddenly on November 7, 2015. Louis was born in Bitola, Macedonia and at the age of nine, in 1970 immigrated with his family to Canada where he lived for 45 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Danila, mother Jelica, brother Tom (Sirpa), and sister Danica (Arturo), along with his nephews and nieces Richard (Melissa), Amanda (Jeff), Breanna (Daniel), Tatyana and Michele; also his great-nephew Brody, and great-niece Kaitlyn; his father-in-law Milan, mother-in-law Ema, and sister-in-law Vesna. Louis was predeceased by his father Kiro, grandparents, uncles, aunt and cousin. Louis was a man that would help anyone in need. He was a great animal lover and while walking his dog, he would collect beverage cans and donate the money to the Northern Reserve Dog Rescues. Always by his family's side, Louis was our rock and helped his family without question. Louis will be dearly missed by his friends and extended family. Bog Da Te Prosti, Da Ti Je Lesna Zemja Memorial / Funeral Services will be on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society or the Northern Reserve Dog Rescue.

I cannot express my shock and sadness upon hearing of Louis' passing. I can't even begin to imagine the impact his passing had on his family and friends. I know how much he loved you all, especially his mom. I am so very sorry for your loss. Louis, the thought of you will forever take me back to a time when life was so carefree and innocent. It's been two months and I still can't believe your gone. I still remember like it was yesterday, you would put me in a big box and put the box on the sled and pull me over to the babysitters when we came to Canada. You always were my protector when I was younger. Somewhere we drifted apart as adults. We miss you and Love you so much. Mom will never be the same without you. I got to know Louis from his regular visits to my workplace, Costco ! He and I had many conversations over the years, and he always left you with the feeling that 'you ' really mattered. He had an unbelievably great sense of humour, and had no problem calling a spade a spade! RGZBGCI think that's why I enjoyed all of our conversations ... because he was so real !
