I would very much like to know if he wrote a biography and if he finished a book about his 3 friends (from childhood). Arthur was a very interesting man. His writings are wonderful. - Posted by: Marie penner (My husband Paul was a friend and his brother Georg also. We visited him in 2012.) on: Dec 01, 2015

Got to know Arthur who lived in the same senior's apartment building (Bethania Haus) as my mother. Easy person to talk to and we played chess a few times. He came from the same area of Ukraine where I was born. Interesting cultural combination Mennonite/Ukrainian. My closing expression ...what he would say as we started a game. Quite a guy. Helmut und Uta aus Berlin (Germany) - Posted by: Helmut Zuehlke (Grandcousin) on: Nov 21, 2015

My father did his utmost to give us all a well rounded and full life's experience, with the skills to match. He will be sorely missed by Kevin, Holly and myself. - Posted by: Heidi kroeger () on: Nov 19, 2015

To the Family: Mr. Kroeger was kind, gentle, humble, a very knowledgeable historian, an awesome story teller and had a great sense of humor. We were honored to be considered his friends although he always called me "Cousin". We first met him when he restored our Kroeger clock. Our friendship continued over the years - visiting at his apt., attending book signing, etc. He loved Olive Garden. He was very proud of his daughters and grandchildren. We were honored to know him. Our sympathies, love and prayers are with all of you as you remember your dad and grieve. Love & prayers, Herm & Eleanor Martens, - Posted by: Herm & Eleanor Martens (Cousin) on: Nov 18, 2015

Art and I worked in the same department at Hydro until his retirement. Art worked in the structural steel section and I in the foundation section which meant we worked closely together on lots of jobs. God speed Art. - Posted by: Gordon McKee (Colleague at Manitoba Hydro) on: Nov 16, 2015
