Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMANUEL FRANSISCO CORREIA It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and brother-in-law Manuel Correia, on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 3:20 a.m. He was born on October 1, 1945 in Faja de Cima, Sao Miguel Acores, and immigrated to Canada in 1972. Manuel passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his parents Fransisco Sesmundo Correia and Clara Duarte Ferreira, his son Heitor Manuel, his beloved wife Almorinda Correia, and several brothers and sisters. Manuel leaves to mourn his children Susana (Dennis), Rui (Kimberly) and Sandy (Paulo), along with his grandchildren that he loved and cherished very much, Corey (Krissy), Aleksia (Brayden), Justin, Cynthia, Lucas and Ella. Also left to mourn is his brother Jose Maria Correia of Toronto, ON, his sisters Vanda Martins of Toronto, ON and Maria De Lourdes of Sao Miguel, Acores, and his brother-in-law Humberto Ferreira (Dina), as well as many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. We would like to say a special thank you to CancerCare Manitoba and the Palliative Care doctors and nurses for their compassionate care for our father. Thank you to family and friends for taking the time to call and visit our father, it didn't matter how short or long the visits were, he appreciated them very much. A special thank you to my employers at Bee-Clean Building Maintenance, who were so understanding and kind enough to allow me to take time off work so I could care for my father and spend his last days with him. I will forever be grateful. God bless you all. Rest in Peace Dad you will forever live in our hearts and soul. You may be gone but never forgotten. Visitation Service will take place Tuesday, November 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway. Funeral service to celebrate Manuel's life will be held Wednesday, November 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the same location with viewing one half hour prior. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave., Msgr. Maurice Comeault presiding. Rest in Peace Gone but never forgotten.

It was just this year that I met Manuel his daughter Susy works with me and I was honored to meet Mr. Manuel and the time that I did meet him I can honestly say that he was and is a very nice person.
