MARJORIE LILLIAN ROMANIUK Peacefully, on Sunday, November 29, 2015 Marjorie passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital. Marjorie was born October 3, 1926 in Brokenhead, MB. She was the last survivor of eight children born to Andrew and Teckla Zdrill. Marjorie married Peter Sochaski and moved to Transcona. In 1973, Peter passed away. Marjorie married Peter Romaniuk in 1978. Peter passed away January 15, 2009. Marjorie and Peter moved to Woodland Courts in Selkirk, MB in August, 2007 where they resided happily for many years. Auntie Margie was admitted to Selkirk General Hospital in September and passed away from complications of lung cancer. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with viewing one half hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery. We, Sally Shymkiw and recently deceased Eugene Shymkiw, and Angela and Juerg Mannhart and family would like to thank all of her caregivers from Woodland Courts, the Selkirk General Hospital nursing staff, Dr. Robert Zoppa and especially the kitchen staff at Woodland Courts.
