Its been a while since we last met. I learned of your passing from a work colleague at the NFI Christmas party. We started work at New Flyer in the early seventies and were friends throughout that time. You usually phoned me once a week and we would talk for an hour or so. We kept in touch. As I retired just a couple of years ago we lost touch and would usually meet at the Company Christmas party. You were a very good worker and a great Union supporter right till the end. We will miss you and certainly I will miss you. You always brought life to the party! Our Local Union will hold a moment of silence in your memory at our next local meeting. You may be gone but certainly not forgotten. Out of all the people that I knew at New Flyer you will always be one of the few which I will remember and reminisce about. You always stood up for your rights and cared very deeply for your family. In Solidarity Tony Zienkiewicz - friend and co-worker - Posted by: Tony Zienkiewicz (friend) on: Dec 10, 2015

I will always treasure my experiences with Aunty Alice, and will remember fondly of how she used to address me as "darling"...she was such a loving, kind, caring person, and enjoyed talking on the phone in the evenings....I am so fortunate to have her in my life, and will miss her dearly. Rest in peace, aunty Alice. - Posted by: Barbara Lucas (Johnson) (neice (through marriage)) on: Dec 06, 2015
