THOMAS RONALD (RON) CHAMBERLAIN June 14, 1935 - November 30, 2015 Four girls are mourning the loss of their dad Thomas Ronald (Ron) Chamberlain on Monday, November 30, 2015 after a lengthy struggle. Predeceased by wife Lois on July 2, 2008, Dad is survived by Jennifer (Doug), Margaret (Jacques), Charlene (Charles), and Christine (Gerry); seven grandchildren, Amanda, Jason, Tristan, Helena, Marina, Colin and Leanna; four great-grandbabies, Joshua, Delila, Victoria and Cayden; and his sister Joan (John). Dad was a lifelong carman at CN Rail. He enjoyed summer weekends with family at Linklater and Little Gordon Lakes. He never had idle hands, always fixing or building something including three cottages over his lifetime. He also had an extraordinary green thumb. Thank you so much to RiverEast Care Home, Serenity Cove neighbourhood. Your care and compassion for our dad is much appreciated. Memorial Service will be Saturday, December 5 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dad's memory can be made to River East Personal Care Home or Spinal Cord Research Centre, University of Manitoba.
