REBECCA HRNCIC February 22, 1957 - December 2, 2015 Rebecca was born in Frankfurt, Germany and immigrated to Canada with her parents in 1963. It is with sad hearts we lay our dear Rebecca to rest. She passed after a brief fight with cancer peacefully as was her wish in the loving home of her son Kristopher and daughter-in-law Tracy. She leaves to mourn her partner Abe Rempel; son Stan Hrncic (JR), (Tiffany); grandchildren, Savannah, Saleena, Samantha; son Kristopher Hrncic (Tracy); granddaughter Jazlyn; son Jesse Hrncic (Melissa); grandson Ulrich and granddaughter Ursula; Father Josef Pillmann and wife Ingrid (stepmother). Her sisters Lydia Empringham and husband Randy, Vesna Harland and husband Bradley, Blanka Pillmann, and Deborah Sherrington (stepsister). Nieces and nephew are Charity, Milika, Justin, Katya, Hannelore and Alex along with their children and families. Oma Ursula in Germany, Uncle Klaus (Ziggy) and loving family in Gosen Germany. Many who mourn are also relatives in Germany, Serbia, Ontario and Paraguay along with their respective families. Rebecca was a loving mother and grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt who took pride in her beautiful home creating a warm and inviting place for many friends and family. She has left in our memory her strong character, sharp wit, and commitment to family. She will be forever missed and loved. Rebecca is predeceased by her husband Stanko Hrncic and her mother Hannelore Pillmann. The family wishes to thank Nurse Anna and the palliative care doctors for their kindhearted skill and attention to our Rebecca. Kris, Tracy and Lydia for their loving commitment to her care. The funeral will be on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Green Acres Funeral Home and cemetery located off Hwy#1 East at Navin Rd. REBECCA HRNCIC (nee PILLMAN) It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Hrncic on December 2, 2015, aged 58, in Winnipeg, MB. Rebecca will be lovingly remembered by her husband Abe Rempel, along with her children Stan (Tiffany), Kris (Tracy) and Jessie (Melissa); sisters Vesna Harland, Lydia Empringham and Blanka Pillman; grandchildren Savanah, Saleena, Samantha, Uli, Ursula and Jasmine; nieces and nephews, Charity, Milika, Justin, Katyea and Hannelore. She was predeceased by her first husband Stanko Hrncic and her mother, Hannelore Pillman. Rebecca had such love and passion towards all animals, specifically her four dogs and eight birds. She enjoyed living in the country and spending time with family, especially having her grandchildren over on the weekends to "babysit" Grandma. She had a heart of gold, infectious laugh and strong devotion for her entire family. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday December 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway #1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2C 2Z3. Interment and reception will follow.
