HERTA RADTKE On December 5, 2015 at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home, Herta Radtke (nee Schulz), aged 87 years, went to be with her Lord. Herta was born in Lubomirka, Poland on July 15, 1928 and married Arthur Radtke on December 15, 1946. They immigrated to Canada along with two of her siblings and their spouses, Arthur Schulz and Frieda Sachwi in October 1948, settling in Morris, Manitoba, later moving to Winnipeg in the fall of 1958. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur Radtke, on October 19, 1992, granddaughter Jenessa Beesley on February 1, 1990; three sisters and one brother. Herta is survived by her four children Harry (Gail), Kurt (Trudy), Marlies Beesley (Roger) and Gordon (Lilly), along with grandchildren Jason (Jill), Kyle (Jacquie), Kevin (Carilee), Chris (Becky), Amber Loewen (Jordan), Jarred, Kiersten and great-grandchildren Andrew, Jasmine, Cooper and Max, as well as brother Emil Schulz and sister Adele Rüdiger in Germany. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the wonderful care that Mom received at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home over the past three years, especially all of the staff of the North Nursing Station. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethania Mennonite Memorial Foundation or the Parkinson Society. A Memorial Service will be held at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Road, on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.
