Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS SHYMKIW February 11, 1919 - December 3, 2015 Thomas Shymkiw passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the age of 96 at St. Pierre Nursing Home. Born, raised and educated in Komarno, Manitoba, Thomas moved to Winnipeg and was self-employed. He will be sadly missed by his surviving brother Paul and his sister Helen, both in Michigan; dearly missed by his sons, Doug (Carol) in Winnipeg, Wayne in Niverville, Jerry in Oregon and Timothy (Dorothy) in Arizona. He will be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren and his 10 great-grandchildren. The family is eternally grateful for the exceptional, compassionate care and support extended to Thomas by the St. Pierre Nursing support team. Thank you! In keeping with Thomas's wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will take place in Komarno, MB at a later date. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193
