ROBERT CHARLES MITCHELL (BOBSTER) On December 10, 2015 Robert, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 59 years. Robert is survived by his daughter Michelle Mitchell of Edmonton; nine grandchildren; brothers Dennis, Bill (Betty) of Traverse Bay, Leonard (Melody); sisters Linda (Doug) and Jean (Brandy) of Kamloops. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Elizabeth, brothers Barry, Ralph and Jack and sisters Agnes and Dorthy. Robert attended Sisler High School and spent most of his time in Winnipeg. He took his apprenticeship training at Red River College and became a Red Seal certified Sprinkler/Fire Protection Installer and was currently employed by the Manitoba Lotteries Commission. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. As per Robert's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be at a later date. 204-586-8044

  • I too remember Robert as an outstanding long distance runner and gentle, thoughtful soul. Out time in school was a long time ago but it is much too soon to have lost Robert. Last time I bumped into Robert was about 5 years ago.
