Date of Passing: Dec 04, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTY) ISAAK With saddened hearts our wife, mother and grandmother, Elizabeth Henrietta Isaak passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on December 4, 2015, at St. Boniface Hospital. Elizabeth (Betty), will be remembered by Harold, her beloved husband of 52 years; her daughter Teresa (Tom) Warkentin; daughter Lillian (Rick) Koch and son Dean (Rachelle) Isaak as well as seven grandchildren, Caitlin (Chris) Schindel and Luke Warkentin, Jordan, Alyssa and Mikayla Koch and Annelie and Charlotte Isaak. She was predeceased by three brothers, one sister, a nephew and granddaughter. Betty was born on July 9, 1936 to Jacob and Elizabeth Penner in Kaleida, Manitoba as the sixth of 12 children and two special sisters, Janet Roulette and Brenda Unruh. Betty graduated as an RN in 1960, working as a nurse for 35 years, finishing her career at the Victoria Hospital. Betty was baptized at the age of 18, her faith always being very important to her. Betty had many interests over the years such as gardening, painting/art, sewing, cooking/baking, playing games and reading. Her greatest passion was loving her grandchildren. Betty was hoping to be with her whole family this Christmas, her favorite time of year, but God had a better plan for her. Saying we'll miss you doesn't begin to describe the emptiness we'll feel, but we will see you again. Love you. Interment has taken place. A celebration of life for Betty will be held on December 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at The Bridge Church on west perimeter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Back to the Bible or a charity of your choice.
