Funeral Service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30 with interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. I never had the privilege of meeting Chris, but I know how Tammi spoke of him, and how much joy and happiness he brought to her. That is all I need to know that he was a beautiful soul; if he made my friend smile the way she did when she spoke of him, he had to be wonderful. I knew Chris from Virden. He was always so kind and happy. My family moved from Virden in 1986 but with the wonders of Facebook I reconnected with Chris. I know his family will miss him terribly. Chris was always the type of person who worried about how everyone else was doing. He would want everyone to be strong and to have faith during this difficult time.
