Date of Passing: Dec 24, 2015
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH CHARLES MIDDLEBROOK It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Kenneth Middlebrook on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at the young age of 60 years old. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Alice, brother Wayne and his life partner Dennis Webster. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Cathy (Rick), Lynda (Wayne), Maureen (Sherry), Uncle Garfield Forbes (Pat), along with Aunt Jean Loftus, Dean (Meighan), Elaine (Leo), Ron (Kathy), and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Ken was born in Orillia, Ontario and later moved to Winnipeg to be closer to his family. He was always proud that he began his working years as an Orderly. Soon after, Ken discovered his passion for the food service industry. He spent most of his career as a long term loyal employee at Food Systems Management, most notably as the Cafeteria Supervisor in the Woodsworth Building and MTS Osborne Call Center. A true and gentle man, Ken never spoke ill of anyone. He was loved by all he encountered, whether in his work or everyday acquaintances. His magnetic charm, sense of humour, boyish chuckle, quick wit and need to tease, are some of his traits we will miss most. Ken was a master baker and accomplished cook. He loved to please everyone with his scrumptious delights. The family would like to extend special thanks to MTS Osborne St., and to FSM for their kindness and support. A celebration of Ken's life will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Highway. "GONE FOREVER, BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN"
