Sorry to hear about Vi. For years I've been wanting to get in contact with her but didn't know how. I just had my daughter search on computer and this obituary showed. I am so sad. I still have a picture or two of us when we were young. She was a great friend - Ivy. - Posted by: Ivy Batt (Best Friend from work at Eatons - mail order in 1942 in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada) on: Feb 02, 2016

Aunt Vi was a much loved aunt and great aunt, who always had positive words and encouragement for her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews. She worked for many many years at Eatons in Toronto and Winnipeg and visited relatives in Ottawa when she was able. We have fond memories of Auntie Vi coming for Christmas visits on our farm near Ottawa. She will be missed. Kate - Posted by: Kathleen Herd (Niece) on: Jan 04, 2016
