ROBERT (BOB) NOBISS It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing and loss of our dad, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Robert (Bob) Nobiss. Dad's life was cut short on Monday, December 28, 2015 at the age of 64 years. He leaves to mourn his wife Carol of 22 years; his son Shane (Dallas); his daughter Vanessa; his grandsons, Jonah, Colton and Jason; his sister Betty; his brother-in-law Chuck, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends. Bob was predeceased by parents, Pearl and Maxim; brothers, Raymond, Rick and Peter; and sisters, Gail, Mickey and Marilyn. Dad was a hardworking man who was employed with the City of Winnipeg for 36 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a great friend to those in the past, as well as the present with many funny stories to share. As a father, he had a heart of gold and was loving, selfless, generous and humorous. He will be terribly missed by all who had the pleasure of sharing his life. In keeping with Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Dad, you will be terribly missed, forever in our hearts and never forgotten from "Daddy's Little Girl" and your "Number One Son". Cropo Funeral Chapel, 204-586-8044

Of the few loved ones who remain, you were one of the last, Uncle Bob. I still have tapes of hours of fun and silliness at which you were all too often the center. As the Bible teaches, you will not reside in eternal oblivion, but a resurrection will occur in which you will have a real chance at eternal life and to share with all of our loved ones--never to be parted--and wherein death itself will be conquered.
